What is an agape feast? An agape feast is a special meal consisting of light foods, souch as soup, salad, fruit and/or bread. During this meal, the Lord’s Supper is celebrated with both foot washing and the bread and grape juice.
Many congregations will have an agape feast at special times throughout the year, one of which is the New Year.
This New Year, I would like to celebrate with an agape feast something during the weekend of January 5 – 7, 2024. This will take the place of our regular Sabbath morning communion service.
Please fill out the survey to help in planning for this special time together. Note: this will take place at Springfield, as their fellowship hall can accommodate both the New Carl Isle and Springfield congregations.
